These Organic Bloom ornament frames are gracing trees all over town but what else can you do with them for the holidays and beyond? Here are a few of my favorite ideas from my partners at The Organic Bloom. You can find even more ideas on their blog including last week’s tips for painting unfinished ornament frames. If you missed it, go back and check it out. Happy Holidays!
Leave Santa a key. No chimney, no problem. Just leave Santa a key. It’s a great decorative item until the big man comes to town but you’ll want to move the key outside on Christmas Eve so that he can actually get in.
Make a clock. I love this funky DIY clock made with ornament frames. It’s a piece of art and it makes a HUGE statement in any room of your house. It’s so easy to personalize and change for the seasons with sayings, pictures, numbers and more.
Make place cards. This has always been one of my favorite uses of the ornament frames. You can use them to let your guests know where to sit or to label items on a buffet table. You could even use them to label your family stockings with names and/or pictures. If your kids love art, then let them decorate their own place cards for a festive table or name tags for stockings. If you love pictures, fill the frames with an image of each honored guest or family member. I’ve also seen these used as present toppers either with a picture or name of the recipient. That’s actually a gift on top of a gift! The possibilities are endless.
