Freedom Park has long been one of my favorite Charlotte, North Carolina locations for outdoor, natural-light photography sessions. It’s gorgeous all year around, but a few months ago, it was simply stunning. Fall 2015 was full of so much color and this family simply added to it. I love photographing them. We laugh. We smile. We goof off. We even walk like ducks and make duck calls too . . . see below 😉 We captured such a great variety of casually-posed portraits, lifestyle images and candids. I love how their personalities shine through in all of these pictures. Thank you Dorsey family for continuing to trust me with your family photography. I think we make a great team.

I always make time for a few pictures of mom and dad alone because 1) many couples haven’t had a portrait alone since their wedding and 2) kids love laughing at their parents. This is one of my favorite couples images of the fall season.
