This series makes me smile every. single. time. Two adorable blond girls giving and receiving kisses. Puppy love always melts my heart.
This series was shot at the end of a family photography session. We took pictures of the siblings, individuals of each child, sibling pairs, parents and parent/kid pairs. Then we took family pictures with the puppy. She was amazing. She sat perfectly still and even listened when I wanted her attention. What a good dog! I always welcome pets at my family sessions. Clients usually ask hesitantly if it’s ok. It’s always ok. My dog Max is part of the staff (a fairly unproductive part but an inspiration none the less) here at Abbe McCracken Photography. He’s pictured frequently on my Instagram feed and makes it onto the blog every now and then too in my personal family photography. If you want more Max, you can find him frolicking in the snow in .0875 Inches of Snow Fun. He’s an adorable mess but that’s not the point. The point is yes let your pets join the photography fun too.
