Stunning Senior Sneak | Weddington Senior Photography

Senior portraits offer such a unique glimpse at the next generation of leaders – their personalities, their style, their emerging adult selves.  This stunning Weddington High School senior just blew me away Friday night.  Not only is she gorgeous and smart, she’s president of the school’s Photography Club too.  How much do I love her?!?  We had a great time shooting, posing and talking about the industry.  She photographs mostly landscapes and even has some awards under her belt.

It’s so refreshing to meet young people who are passionate about their art and who are helping pave the way for others.  She is amazing and she’s just getting started.  I can’t wait to follow her progress through college and beyond.  I’m so honored that her parents hired me and am so thankful for the friends who recommended me.   Thank you all for trusting me with these special senior portraits.  Thank you Nicole for opening up and being yourself.  I love that we captured your serious side, your silly side, your style and those gorgeous, expressive brown eyes.  I can’t wait to show you the rest of this gallery.  For now, here’s a stunning sneak peek.

I book senior photography sessions all year around.  This session was early fall of Nicole’s senior year at Weddington High School.

Welcome to my blog! I’m a child and family photographer based in Charlotte NC.

Parents always ask, “what if my kid doesn’t listen?” My answer: that’s actually perfect. Don’t tell your children I said so, but personalities shine when listening ears fail. I welcome the silly. I want the giggles. I watch for honest smiles, real connections and stolen family moments.

This applies to your big kids and high school seniors too. Wink, Wink.
