Baseball is America’s favorite pastime, right? Mine too. I love watching my little guy play and I especially love when both of my favorite guys get in the frame. This season Jay is loving his position as catcher. Actually in our baseball league, South Charlotte Recreation Association, the kids play all of the positions. Jay just likes to pretend that catcher is his spot. He’s actually pretty good at it and it does seem to be his favorite . . . for now. I love seeing him suited up in the catcher’s gear. Good thing Dad was there to help tonight because clearly I was busy with camera in hand. Easy access to home plate is another reason I love seeing him play catcher. I don’t need to pull out my zoom lens to find him! I just have to stay out of the way and watch for foul balls. A fair trade for images like these two new baseball favorites and a great example of why you should always carry a camera with you. I didn’t plan on shooting today. I just couldn’t help myself.
