My kids are here. Well, they were just a minute ago. Now they were here.
Every day in and out of the door, the panty, the house, the toys, the laundry. Usually they leave behind signs of their quick flight to bigger and better things. Many times it’s small mess like shoes in the middle of the floor or empty juice boxes. Sometimes it’s a well-loved craft or token of love for me. I realize these things – even the messes – will not last forever that’s why I said yes to a new personal photography project. I LOVE my Project 52 and I’m excited to start a new one too: Kids Were Here.
The Kids Were Here blog circle showcases the little signs (and messes) our kids leave behind – the evidence that they were here one minute and gone the next. Usually when I photograph my every day, I move the clutter and put the toys away. This is the uncensored proof of our lifestyle. I have kids and they leave clues.
With the start of school just days away, I chose to capture the little signs of summer.
