A few weeks ago I showed you a gorgeous lake house renovated and decorated by my friend Jennifer Warrick McCarthy. She recently launched her interior design website and I had the honor of photographing three of her completed projects. This week I want to share another amazing home she renovated and decorated right here in Charlotte. This home is in Quail Hollow, a South Charlotte neighborhood surrounding Quail Hollow Country Club, home to the PGA’s annual Wells Fargo Championship. Sadly the tournament has been cancelled this month because of COVID-19 concerns but I have a sneak peek of one of the homes for you.
Jennifer and her client completely remodeled and redecorated the entire first floor of this gorgeous home. The whole project is absolutely beautiful and every room flows seamless into the next, but I had two green-with-envy moments. First, I absolutely love the bright white kitchen and contrast of the warm, dark woods. That china cabinet and matching hood draw my eye every single time. Second, the use of the client’s own personal art collection throughout this house is just stunning. She owns some gorgeous pieces – many are family heirlooms – and the way they incorporated the paintings, drawings and pottery into the kitchen, living room, dining room and sunroom is just perfect in my opinion.
Enjoy this peek at The Warrick Company’s newly renovated and gorgeously decorated Quail Hollow home.
I love this hidden cookbook display seen below!
All the details were addressed in this renovation, even the guest baths, mud room and laundry room were refreshed. I adore these bold, modern wallpapers paired with classic decor and warm finishing touches.
I recently photographed two more of Jennifer’s completed projects. You can see them all now on her new website or here on my blog. I already shared her work at a Lake Wateree, South Carolina home and I plan to showcase her renovations to an Eastover home soon. Stay tuned!
