High school graduation is right around the corner for this all-star athlete and scholar. Meet my friend Bryson. He’s a senior at Carmel Christian School in Matthews and is going to Lee University in the fall. Bryson received an academic scholarship and is hoping to double major in business management and ministry. Lee University is located in Cleveland, Tennessee about 20 minutes from Chattanooga. Congratulations Bryson! Clearly your family is so proud of you. They all wore Lee University gear during your senior photos in Uptown Charlotte!
I’ve known Bryson for a long time. He is such an amazing young man. He’s so polite and thoughtful, and is such a great role model for kids of all ages. He is also an all around awesome athlete. You know those kids who can pick up any sport and own it? That’s him. He currently plays varsity basketball and baseball for Carmel Christian. He also plays golf and any competitive outdoor game like corn hole and spike ball. But basketball is his favorite. His love for the game began at age 3 and even now, he spends his summers training kids in his driveway. I’m lucky enough to see that firsthand every now and then. He has an amazing rapport with each and every one of them.
Bryson graduates from Carmel Christian on Friday, May 28. He is very excited about college but also has so many amazing high school memories. He loved school retreats at Windy Gap, the senior game of “Jackal” and senior prom. If you don’t know, “Jackal” involves eliminating each other from the game using squirt guns. That sounds like an awesome warm weather activity to me. As does his senior trip to Disney this month!
I photographed Bryson’s senior pictures in Uptown Charlotte last month. We also photographed new family portraits. Combining these two sessions is a great way to secure senior portraits and new family photos at one convenient time. It’s perfect for families like Bryson’s who want to document family hugs and high fives before the senior leaves home. Plus, now they can check holiday card photos off their list too!
Thank you Bryson and family for trusting me to document this exciting time. Bryson – I know you are going to love college. What’s not to love about my home state, Tennessee?!?! Lee University is lucky to be getting you.
And one final family image because Mom & Dad are so cute. I love this! I can’t even decide if I like it better in color or black and white.
