Marvin Efird Park in the greater Charlotte area is one of the best locations for natural senior portraits. It was the perfect choice for my new friend Ryan. She loves the outdoors – everything from the beach to the mountains. I love her nature-filled images below.
Welcome to Big Orange Country
Ryan is a senior at Providence High School (PHS) and will be attending the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) in the fall. My husband, Ryan, and I both attended Tennessee so we are excited for her to bleed orange with us. Knoxville is such a great town and Ryan fell in love saying, “it is an amazing campus and the school spirit is fantastic!” She plans to major in sports management. It just so happens that her favorite sport is baseball and Tennessee is owning the sport right now. On Sunday, the Vols beat the Florida Gators for the SEC Championship title. They are the #1 team in the country right now. Needless to say, Ryan will be in an amazing city for college sports.
Ryan has a lot to look forward to before fall though. She and her mom are traveling to Seattle, Vancouver and Victoria. I’ve always wanted to do that trip! I can’t wait to see their pictures. They also plan to visit Hilton Head this summer. She’s been going there every year since she was born. Ryan says, “maybe that’s why I love the beach, but I also love the mountains and snowboarding! I am planning to join the snowboarding club at UT.” Shockingly, I was NOT a member of UT’s snowboarding club. I have however spent my fair share of time at Ober Gatlinburg.
Senior Memories
Ryan says “senior year has been amazing and I will be sad to see it end.” She is a member of the PHS National Honor Society and the German Honor Society. Here are three of her favorite senior memories:
I loved tailgating in the school parking lot on Bro Day. This is when the senior boys to ride to school on their scooters. They are escorted by police down Highway 51 and end up at school with everyone cheering. Prom was also great this year since we didn’t get to have one last year. And lastly, my best friend and I saw Luke Combs. We are big country music fans!
Ryan Lenon, PHS Class of 2022
She’s going to fit in perfectly at UTK.
Ryan – I loved working with you to create these natural senior portraits. Thank you for choosing me! Walk tall across that stage. You have so much to be proud of and such a great road ahead.
