Snuggly Baby Boy | Weddington Newborn Photography at Home

This newborn baby boy is so precious and 100% comfortable in his parents’ arms.  I loved photographing him at home in Weddington, a suburb just south of Charlotte.

At-home newborn photography sessions like this one provide us with such an intimate, personal glimpse into family life with a new baby.  Capturing the newborn baby in momma’s arms, cuddled up together and basking in the gorgeous light of their own home environment is just so special to me.  These newborn lifestyle sessions are some of my very favorite right now.  Clients want to remember life exactly like it was during those first few days – the tiny features, the wide eyes, the sleepy smiles, the funny expressions, the connections, the spaces and the reality of this new phase.

Welcome to your new world Baby Smith! You are one handsome baby boy . . . which is no surprise, your parents are pretty stunning too.  I hope you enjoyed your 12th day of life as much as I did.  You were very alert and curious until you snuggled up with mom and dozed off to dreamland.  From the looks of it, your baby dreams were perfect, just like you.

It’s never too early to start planning your own newborn baby photography session.  Space is limited each month to accommodate the unplanned nature of delivery … most babies come when they are ready, not when we mark the calendar 😉  The best time to photograph newborns is within the first two weeks of life.  They are still so sleepy and new in the world, just alert enough for great eye contact and just sleepy enough to be happy posing on anyone or anything.  This baby boy was 12 days new at his newborn session and as you can see, he was both sleepy and wide-eyed.  Contact me to start planning your newborn session.
