These bright and joyful senior portraits feature the one and only Ryan Samii in the most colorful location in Charlotte: Camp North End. It is no secret that I love Camp North End but when I can pair it with an equally bright and joyful senior, it’s extra amazing. Scroll down to see for yourself! Plus catch a glimpse of his awesome parents. They jumped in on the photo fun too!
From Latin Hawk to Northwestern Wildcat
We’ve got another Charlotte Latin Hawk heading to Northwestern University! I’ve known Ryan and his family for about six years. We were lucky enough to meet them when my daughter Kate started high school at Charlotte Latin. Kate and Ryan have been in numerous shows together over the years and I can’t wait for more. At Northwestern, Ryan plans to double major in theatre and biochemistry. Here’s why it is the perfect fit for him:
Northwestern provides just about anything I could ever hope for in a college. It has an incredible theatre program and vast resources for all of their other programs, including the biochemistry I also hope to pursue. It is also situated in such a beautiful location 30 minutes outside of Chicago with direct connections to the city.
Ryan Samii, Class of 2024
Master of the Arts & Sciences
Ryan graduated from Charlotte Latin on May 24 and is interning with Atrium Health this summer in an oral microbiome research lab. I love that he is so strong in both the arts and the sciences! His passion for both is so impressive, as is his list of recent awards including Homecoming King, Most Likely To Be On Broadway, Williams College Book Award and the Rensselaer Medal Award. Ryan is also a member of Latin’s Cum Laude Society and was a recent Blumey Awards Best Actor nominee. I love that Ryan received this recognition for his portrayal of Damian in Mean Girls because getting to play this part was his favorite senior memory.
Ryan – I loved our time together at Camp North End. It was bright, colorful and full of amazing light – just like you. I can’t wait to watch you shine at Northwestern.
Thank you Samii family for choosing me to photograph Ryan’s senior portraits. Getting to work with friends is the highest compliment and always such a fun collaboration. I love what we created together.
