To wish everyone a safe and happy holiday break! Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year to you all!
I have loved meeting so many new families this year and photographing repeat clients as well. In 2019 that split was exactly 50/50 which is perfect in my opinion. There’s always such great energy at sessions when meeting new clients and great comfort when photographing old friends. I hope this continues for a long time because having both is such a positive sign of a healthy business. My repeat clients are still loving the experience and telling new clients who must love what they see. It makes me so happy to be serving you all and documenting your family’s stages and milestones.
We’ve all heard the saying “The days are long, but the years are short.” Well my years seem to be slipping away. My oldest Kate is learning to drive and she recently got her braces off. Needless to say, she was very excited to pose for a new Christmas card picture this year. See the gorgeous smile below! Jay is now in 7th grade and competing in varsity debate tournaments against high schoolers. He too will be in high school before we know it. So yes, time is a thief but at least we have cameras to capture the memories and the moments.
Happy Holidays to you all and thank you for another fantastic year here at Abbe McCracken Photography. I’ll be back on the blog in March to start sharing sessions from this past year. I have so much new work to showcase, everything from high school seniors and families to real estate and interior design. Plus hopefully I’ll blog some of my own family vacation pictures too. We traveled to some really awesome places in 2019 but the struggle to prioritize editing my own personal images is very real. The best place to follow along with our adventures is on my Instagram feed. I post iPhone pictures of our travels there – it’s not always professional quality but it is fun to follow along. Speaking of which, we are off to the Bahamas for a warm, sunny Christmas with friends. I can’t wait to relax, reconnect and get reenergized for 2020 . . . spring session deposits are rolling in and I’m excited!
Cheers to you all! Thank you for your continued support, interest and trust.
