Uptown Charlotte family photography sessions are always so much fun. The unique spaces and urban textures provide a ton of variety and lend really well to both serious portraits and lifestyle photography. When this family asked me to photograph them, I knew uptown locations like The Green and Romare Bearden Park would be perfect. I also knew that this family would increase in Uptown Charlotte fun factor exponentially. I was right! One look at these pictures and you will know that we all had such a good time. We were laughing on and off camera. I honestly could have stayed uptown with them all night and they know it. They know it because I was “almost finished” like 15 times. It’s just really, really hard for me to stop doing what I love when I have such awesome and willing models. Plus, we got sidetracked once or twice waiting on someone to perfect his Uptown Charlotte selfies for Instagram. I have to admit, I was impressed. He tried to teach me the best selfie angles but I’m pretty sure I should just stick to photographing other people.
Thank you McFarlane family for asking me to capture your spirit. Thank you for simply asking me to come do my thing. My style is a mix of modern lifestyle photography and traditional portraiture. I think it’s the best of both worlds and I hope you all agree. Stay tuned for even more Uptown Charlotte family photo sessions. I’ve been working my favorite blocks several weekends in a row 😉 Lots and lots to share.
