Holiday Cards, Part 1 | Matthews Family Photography

My Christmas cards are out and client cards are coming in which means, in the words of the wise-old-baboon Rafiki, “It is TIME!”

I’m so excited to share these awesome families with you.  I apologize for the long blogging delay but I am a holiday card nut.  I love the unveiling of new, unseen pictures so I just didn’t want to be the spoiler.  I love everything about holiday cards – making ours, opening yours and all the creativity that goes into this annual event.  This is so cheesy but walks to the mailbox are such a treat this time of year because almost daily I get a present with a 49¢ stamp on it.  And every.single.one. makes me smile.

Here is a preview of our fall fun and some of the many faces gracing the holiday cards on my desk.  Stay tuned for Part 2.  I will forever be grateful to everyone who made this season so wonderful: my family who ate more pizza than usual, my friends who offered extra playdates, my babysitters who juggled the weather better than Al Roker and my clients who let me be creative every day.  Fall was busy, amazing and perfect.  And now, it is time to start sharing my fall family photography favorites with you.
