A Wild Little Birthday Party | Charlotte Family Photography

Birthday parties can be wild.  Not just figuratively. This handsome dude invited a few wild things over to help him celebrate his birthday . . . and I mean literally wild, not just the other 5 and 6 year olds there 🙂

His parents asked the staff from Cold Blooded Encounters in Monroe, North Carolina (just south of Charlotte) to bring the mobile reptile zoo to THEIR HOUSE.  Yes let’s all say it together: best.parents.ever.  There were snakes, lizards, spiders and more, some crawling around on the family room rug.  I hear you and yes, it’s worth repeating – best.parents.ever.  The children got to pet, hold and touch the reptiles or stay as far away as wanted.  Their choice.  I have to admit as much as I dislike most replies, this was a really fun and interesting birthday party.  Thank you for inviting me to photograph the party.  I know mom was thankful she got to take that job off of her list and just enjoy herself.  Here’s a sneak peek of the fun!

Spiderman came to the party.  To see spiders I guess.  Maybe he was recruiting.  Or thinking about a rebrand.
