Inspirational. Educational. Uplifting. Entertaining. Those are just a few of the many words I could write about Click Away, a photography conference I recently attended in San Antonio, Texas. I feel very fortunate that this was my 2nd time attending Clickin Moms‘ Click Away conference. Needless to say, it was just as amazing the second time as it was the first. But this year, the conference was different for me. I spent a lot more time listening and a lot less time shooting. I spent more time being inspired by speakers like Sue Bryce, Jesh de Rox and Karen Walrond; more time fine tuning my brand; and more time thinking about my authentic voice. It was perfect. But I also listened when Nikon and Sigma both handed me lens and told me to go play. Here are just a few highlights from my 2015 Click Away.
Check out these posts for highlights from last year’s Click Away photography conference: My Click Away Kids, One Cool Kid, Low Light Love.
Yes, those are baby feet sticking out of the stroller below! How cute is that? I was fortunate to be in a group of only about 15 photographers who got to photograph the sweet sisters above. While other photographers were shooting, I turned around and saw this – a baby, bags and gear. If that doesn’t say Clickin Moms, I don’t know what does.
A few skyline views from our hotel.
Action shots while shooting kids in motion. The goal was to communicate movement.
The picture below is me shooting through the yellow Texas flowers to give you a feel for our photo shoot outings. Now add about 10 other groups around and behind me and you’ve got it!
And here are a few from the river because on the last night, I finally took a boat ride. Thank you to my friend Maggie for joining me. It was a perfect ending to the perfect conference.
Who’s coming with me next year? Photographers – what was your favorite part this year? Please share. I loved it so much.
