The Colemans | Spring Family Photos in Charlotte’s Independence Park

When this family asked me to photograph them for the second time, I jumped at the chance. Our first session was several years ago at their home. We laughed A LOT. I distinctly remember loving how playful the parents were with all of the kids. Fast forward to this past spring and as you will see, the laughter is as strong as ever. I love the family moments – both playful and tender – captured during this early morning Independence Park session. The kids were all so engaged with each other. I could tell right away that the boys had become best friends over the years and that their little sister simply adored them both. That’s one of the best parts of my job – seeing the love between family members. Especially amongst the children. It’s not rare but it not always obvious either. When I get to witness it first hand and capture those moments of bonding, respect, love and admiration, it’s magic for me too.

Coleman family – Thank you for trusting me once again with your family memories. Thank you for being ready and willing to take whatever direction I threw your way. Thank you for opening up your hearts to each other and letting me be a part of it. Thank you for getting up so super early to take advantage of the gorgeous sunrise light at Charlotte’s Independence Park. It was SO WORTH IT in my opinion. Magic.
